So they recently revealed details to the game's Game Master mode, which is essentially very similar to playing a GM in a game of Dungeons and Dragons. This includes being able to inflict any of the game's status effects on NPC's and the players at a whim. I just thought this was news worth sharing.

Here's a video: https://youtu.be/DIRRDNDPZrM

As much as I love the freeze effect in the first game(second one is...ok)I never could figure out how to change the durations of the status effects, even with the map editor software the game comes with.

I hope this feature lets you do that.

I know for this you can set the duration, 0 being off and -1 for never ending I think.

As redundant it seems because the battle system is turn-based, I just wish to create a perma effect on the free exploring part.

Do you have experience with the first game's map editor? If so, do you think you can help me configure this with simple map editor instructions? I would greatly appreciate it!

Sorry, have no experience with it at all, but there are a series of video tutorials to watch.
