Probably have nothing to do with asfr...and also sounds kinda stupid..

Can anyone please teach/show me how set Japanese fonts on my PC and web browser? I've just recently formated and re-installed a new Windows XP but the problem is that all the Japanese(and any other languages) texts in the web i visited have turned to "? ? ? ? ? ? ? ",and i also can't remember how i set and installed the 'foreign fonts' on my previous Windows before i formated it...

Hmm, it's been awhile but if I remember right you need to go:
Start-->Settings-->Control Panel-->Regional and Language Options

Go to "Languages" tab and check "Install files for East Asian Languages" and hit Apply.  I think you may need your XP disk to install the fonts.  Or maybe you can download it somewhere, I don't really remember.

Not sure if there were any more steps I had to take to get it to work with my web browser, it's been over a year now.  Hope this helps.
